Muse

Muse

Adopt Muse!

Muse: 3 year old, spayed, female, pit mix

Muse is one of our longest stay dog and we are pretty sure it is because she is deaf.

Deaf dogs aren’t “harder”—they just navigate the world a little differently. They bond deeply, communicate through eye contact and hand signals, and often feel extra connected to their people.

Because she can’t hear, girlfriend has achieved an elite level of relaxation. We’re talking professional level napping. When she’s awake, Muse is a total sweetheart. She loves her toys, enjoys romping around with other dogs, and has a gentle, happy energy that makes you smile every time you see her. If you have ever thought about opening your heart to a special needs dog, let Muse be the one! She’s very ready to find a home!

If you are interested in adopting or fostering Muse, and have a cat free home, give us a call so we can schedule a meet and greet with her foster family! You’ll fill out an application to foster or adopt and take this sweet girl home the same day. Muse also has a sponsored adoption fee so the only thing she needs to head home is a dog license. We do adoptions & fosters Monday-Friday from 11:00am-5:30pm, & Saturday-Sunday 11:00am-4:30pm. If you have other dogs at home, please make sure to bring them along as well as proof of current vaccinations from a veterinarian, and proof that they have a current dog license in your county (if applicable).
