You love your dogs, we love them, too! If you are struggling to feed your dogs, we get it. The economy, inflation, bills you weren’t expecting, we all know what it feels like. We started this pantry to help keep pets at home where they belong…with their loving family!
To keep this pantry as convenient as possible we will have you park in the lot across 13th Street from the shelter and line up at the entrance at the corner of Monroe Street and 13th Street.
Our pet food pantry is on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 10am to 12pm. Click here to register.
Here are some questions we think you might have:
Q. How do I know if I qualify?
A. If you are a struggling to feed your own dog and are not breeding your dog or operating a rescue, you qualify.
Q. Do I need proof of financial need?
A. You may use the pantry up to three times without providing further documentation. Not everyone who needs occasional help has documentation, and we understand. Proof of a current dog license will need to be provided to use the food pantry.
Q. How much food can I get?
A. We provide 15 pounds of dry dog food per dog.
Q. Can I get cat food or food for other pets?
A. Our services are mostly dog-oriented. We occasionally have cat food available, but cannot guarantee availability.
Q. Do you have leashes, collars, etc.?
A. We sometime have leashes, collars, harnesses, bowls, and dog clothes available but cannot guarantee we will have some at every pantry.
