May 4th & 5th: Cinco de Fido

The Lucas County Canine Care & Control is holding an adoption special on running May 4^th and 5^th from 11am until 5pm both days to celebrate ‘Cinco de Fido’.  For two days, all dog adoption fees are reduced to only $5 plus a license ($25 in Lucas County). 

The reduced adoption fee still includes everything a full-priced adoption fee would: a behaviorally and medically evaluated dog that has had initial vaccines, heartworm testing, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, a microchip and a license. As of today, more than 60 dogs and puppies are searching for new homes at the Canine Care Center, with more dogs going up for adoption each day.
