Yes, all dogs at LC4 are started on their Distemper/Parvo vaccines, receive a Bordetella vaccine and, if old enough, a rabies vaccine. Depending on the age of the dog you adopt, they may need additional vaccines, but you should consult your veterinarian to help make those decisions. You should take your new pet to your veterinarian within ten days of adoption for a check up and to discuss vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention, diet and more.
